Styling Librarian Technology Share – Haiku Deck

Two of my teacher librarian friends in Hong Kong recently led me to some fantastic resources. I love when blog posts and conversations lead me to a fun exploration. First, I loved trying out Haiku Deck on my iPad. I was able to quickly take images and create a lovely slideshow. I’ve had Haiku Deck on my iPad for quite a long time. I experimented with it once but hadn’t made time to experiment with it for too long.

After I explored the Haiku Deck, I decided to use it to share a new-to-me eBook resource, Oxford Owl – http://www.oxfordowl.co.uk, that provides 250 free books organized in useful, easy to navigate ways. Available after you register and wait patiently for an email. Only took a day to receive permission. It was wonderful to realize that all the eBooks are not only beautiful for viewing but additionally accompanied by audiobook choice. Grateful that my friend shared this in a chat recently.

Here’s what is on my mind for a future project: google doc management with Doctopus and Goobric. I watched this video from a very talented colleague.
